After successful completion of the first semester at film school at the New York Film Academy which comprised seven professional film projects I was tasked with combining all the skills acquired on these projects to create, write and direct a short film for my thesis project.

The project had to be conceived, written film and edited all the the space of the second semester ready in time to be screened at the New York Film Academy main building in New York City in October 2006.

The film was shot over 4 days in August 2006, in Williamsburg Brooklyn, New York City.

We filmed on the brand new Panasonic HVX200 cameras when it was right back at the start of the digital revolution. Filmed inside an apartment block and on the streets on Williamsburg.

I researched the topic of domestic abuse as the subject matter for the film.

I wrote, produced and directed the film, casting 3 actors, Pam Christenson, Tim Swain and Keith Markey as the actors for the film. There was a crew of around 10 people to film the scenes and afterwards I edited the film in Final Cut Pro 5.1.
