The brief was to work with a team of producers and designers to help develop design concepts and bring them to life in a series of graphics deliverables for a virtual conference. This included, opening and closing stings, name straps, countdown clocks and transitions.
I was brought into find a solution to bringing the graphics concepts for the conference to life with animation. I created stings for the conference to open and close, name straps to come up on screen for when the conference speakers were on, transitions to play from one section to the next. I also created the whole graphics environment for a video to close the conference.
Developing the concept
I was given a whole host of material with colours, designs and asked to come up with ways to animate this. Invovled from the brief stage, I was able to look into animating the backgrounds, the main cube elements and also adding extra elements into the design. I then went on to developing sting animations through multiple versions until we reached a final that the client was happy with.
Building the graphics
I used a combination of Cinema 4D and Adobe After Effects to create the graphics, building selected components inside Cinema 4D before bringing them across to finish the animation in Adobe After After Effects.
